Adding a door to the ensuite from the master bedroom will provide additional privacy, reduce noise and light from the ensuite entering your bedroom, and reduce heating costs. A sliding door that disappears into a hidden cavity or a standard hinged door will help close off the ensuite and isn't usually an expensive upgrade.
Add Door to Ensuite
Standard bedrooms can be quite small, and display homes will often use small bedroom furniture to disguise just how tiny the bedrooms are. We recommend you take a tape measure with you when visiting display homes so that you can measure the bedrooms and compare them with your current room size. Speak to your new home sales consultant for information about costs and plan options if you need larger bedrooms.
Sliding Wardrobe Doors
Upgrading your bedroom wardrobes to include sliding doors will increase the available room space compared with standard hinged outward-opening doors. A sliding door track system isn't usually an expensive upgrade and is recommended for bedrooms with limited space.
Wardrobe Door Height
Upgrading the wardrobe door height will increase your overall wardrobe storage access. If you've upgraded the internal door heights, most builders will not include the wardrobe doors as part of this upgrade, so ensure your wardrobe door height is also upgraded to keep door heights constant throughout your home.
